A|-------------------------|-------------------------|------------------------|| E|-0===========------------|-------------------------|<12>====================|| Notes ----- The standard sheet music editions do not give a tempo. The associated Youtube video is Andante, but it is also played Andantino (a little faster than Andante) and Moderato. ___ ___ ___ ___ 1 | | | | | | | | | | | | 4 triplets to the measure e|-----0-----0-----0-----0-| triplet = 3 notes played in the time of 2 B|---0-----0-----0-----0---| G|-------0=====------0=====| D|-------------2=====------| A|-------------------------| E|-0=======================| The standard sheet music editions differ in the duration (length) of the notes played with the thumb, and individual editions are sometimes inconsistent when measures are repeated. Many of these notes are played on open strings; so if the lengths of the notes in the sheet music were all strictly held to this would make the piece far more difficult to play than was originally intended. Legend ------ left hand fingering (below tab) 1 - index 2 - middle 3 - ring 4 - little === - note held <12> - natural harmonic (open string, 12th fret) ****************************************************************************** more classical tabs at http://www.classtab.org
