Notes and Legend

"sur trois cordes" - on three strings (played on the top 3 strings)

left hand fingering (LHF) below the tab -
1 - index finger (forefinger)
2 - middle finger
3 - ring finger (annular)
4 - little finger (pinky)

===    - length of note, note held, duration
-3-    - triplet - 3 notes in the time of 2 notes
>      - accented, marked, stressed
bpm    - beats per minute (quarter notes)
cresc. - crescendo - becoming louder
F.     - Fermata - pause, notes held for longer than their value
mf     - mnezzo-forte - moderately loud
poco   - little (poco cresc. - becoming a little louder)
rit.   - ritenuto - slowing down, becoming suddenly slower
Tempo  - speed (a Tempo - return to the earlier tempo)

c1     - part barre on the 1st fret
c2     - part barre on the 2nd fret [etc]
